BHFC BLACK 8-0 *********



Second game for BHFC black and although it was an elite colts team full of trialists who in the managers words didn't even know each others names you can only beat teams in front of you and an 8-0 score line was a good run out and a good start at home .Thought we played some good football and there was some great team goals with us hitting the wood work three times ( I say woodwork the goals are metal and about £500 a pop and it didn't take up an hour of my time to put up before the game!!!!!!!!!) Thanks to Luke Ansell for helping us out im going to be inviting a few more players over the next few weeks to play for us as id like to get in the other two players need sooner rather than later which also helps me Craig  Gary & Kev decide what league were going to play in next year. Loads of friendlies'/ tournaments' coming up over the next few months and the futsal on Mondays is  now full up with the 12 that we wanted and Gary and Trevor Grinstead are coming down to help with the coaching. The sports hall  is booked till December and only closed half term weeks. Never ending list below of matches if there's any of the dates below you cant do can you let me know asap as now we have three other teams at the club in the non league games we can mix it all up if players are not available on any weeks. Also good day out at Leyton Orient kids had a great day out thanks to kev porter for sorting all the tickets out he now has promotions manager to his assistant manager title !!!!!!!!!!!!!

BHFC 0- 4 *********

First game of the season against a solid Cheshunt fc outfit with a much depleted squad due to four players being on holiday started with a 4-0 loss, two early goals conceded and I think that rattled us a bit. We started with Nathan W & Hayden P in defence who will be partnered together this year a midfield of Bailey A Nathan B and Tobi B with Archie up top we played a nice passing game at times in  the middle of the pitch but failed to test there keeper. We looked a bit stronger when Ricky F entered the fray but we went in at half time three nil down and I could not really see a way back into the game. 


The second half was a bit better.  I know that the kids do not like it but we really need a crash course on defending.  Lots of times we were caught ball watching but then again I have seen  players earning £30k a week doing the same !!


The two defensive partnerships were not helped greatly by the midfield not tracking back.  Lots for me to work on.  We could take the easy route and play the best two defenders at the back all year but I still maintain we need to rotate positions. 


Player of the match today without question was Coby M.  I think the score would have been greater but for the big man, bless him, was only worried about blood on his new yellow goalie shirt from a cut lip caused by a thundering strike from their number 10.


Another new challenge Parsloes Athletic v BHFC Black next Saturday 11am kick off.  I will email more details later in the week.


Sunday BHFC Black v BHFC Blue & Belmont FC 2 x 30 min games at Estadio Rodinni!! (at home).


No futsal Monday as its a bank holiday but 3 v 3 will take place on Tuesday at 11am - 1pm usual place by the spider park £5.


Please can I remind all parents that everyone should arrive 30 mins before kick-off to ensure a proper warm-up and team talk.
