MATCH REPORT 28/09/14

BHFC U/9 BLACK 1-1 SA

GUEST REPORT DAD STYLEEEE)!!

A blazing hot day at Estadio Rodini( NILCO ARENA !!!!) saw the unbeaten Blacks take on Shield Academy. Manager Stuart was scouting for new talent in Walthamstow so Coach Kev expertly stepped into Stuart's big shoes to lead the team.

A slow start from both teams, but then Buckhurst hill started to improve their passing game and pressed the opposition back. Some excellent crosses from Nathan B and Tobi were unlucky not to lead to a goal.

Coby was alert throughout the game and made an excellent save to grab a long range strike which bounced back off the crossbar.

Continuing pressure from Buckhurst Hill paid off early in the second half when a through ball from Nathan W found Mitchell who smashed home a great goal.

The heat started to take its toll on the Blacks and Shield Academy started to come back into the game. Excellent defending from Hayden and Faith limited their shots on the Buckhurst hill goal. Joseph and Joe both put in real shifts driving forward to attack and tracking back to deny the opposition time on the ball.

In the final five minutes the ball broke to a shield academy striker who scored from close range. A fair reward for their second half pressure

MATCH REPORT BY MARK WRIGHT

(GUEST REPORT WOMEN  STYLEEEEE)!!!!

The Nilco stadium was covered in sunshine on this swelteringly hot late September day and tensions were mounting for our 4th league game of the season. We started strong with Nathan W keeping a solid wall at the back. Faith was tough and dependable as usual running up and down the pitch and showing no signs of fatigue.

> After 5 minutes their goal keeper proved his worth by saving a cracking shot from Blake 7 brilliantly assisted by Blake 14.  Hayden made some great runs but still no goal. Joseph J threaded through a pass to Mitchell which led to a great shot which again just missed their net. We continued to dominate in the first half although Coby was tested when he saved a tough shot. The stalemate continued as halftime time approached.
>
> The Blacks came into the second half determined to get one in the net. Then it happened - Hayden made an excellent pass to Mitchell who with his usual flair found the net - goal. 1-0!

> Joe R went on to make an outstanding run the length of the pitch and just missed the goal with a magic cross. There was a big goalmouth scramble with the keeper saving well 3 times with shots from Joseph J, Mitchell and Faith in the space of 30 seconds.

> End to end football gold continued with good, clean gamesmanship.
> This week we had a proper referee who actually stopped the match when someone was injured! Their coach got a ball from Faith in the man bits and did a little jig which made us all laugh!
>
> Nathan B made a fantastic cross to his twin's head - Tobi gave a great header but just missed the net. Their crosses and headers are just getting better and better but then again, they do live with the Coach!
>
> Defensive errors and players tiring in the heat led to shot on goal that Coby had no chance of saving 1-1. We deserved to win but the other team kept tough and were solid and very well paced with 2 tough goal keepers. They came back strongly at the end and saves from Coby ensured the match was a draw and our unbeaten run continues.

> All in all an enjoyable match with all players contributing well.

MATCH REPORT FROM EMMA SANDLER JAMES

MASSIVE THANKS TO EMMA AND MARK FOR  THE MATCH REPORTS NOT A BAD IDEA IN FUTURE IF ANYONE WANTS TO ADD TO MINE FEEL FREE TO SEND ME ONE

little bit at the end from Coach Blake Thanks to  Kev & Mark for stepping in as I was helping out a top man who's made a massive contribution to my quality of life since I was Diagnosed with my condition 2011."
Back to football we have now had Four different defensive partnerships and  still remain  unbeaten(which is not overly important   ) but  in my opinion is a massive  plus to what we are trying to achieve  long term and without the support of you  the parents we cant achieve   this , our goal should IMO  be  long term rather than short term we will come unstuck(from time to time ) as my dad would say but keep the Faith !!!! Lets do the right thing !!COYBLACK
We had a behind closed doors training session on Saturday!!!!!!! and did 20 mins at the end  on game management, how to play differently when you're losing as opposed to winning (park the bus !!!!!) just to sow a seed in the kids heads going to carry this on again in the future some may say their  too young to think about tactics but I don't think we give children enough credit at this age , on Saturday we did this for ten minutes per team and believe me seeing 8 year olds throwing there bodies on the line to defend  they definitely got the task

MATCH REPORT 21/09/14

******** 3-3 BHFC BLACK

A game where coaches/parents/players had to stand up and be counted.

This game, I felt, was far more physical than should have been allowed for any under 9s team but not with standing that we were far the better team from the start.  With lots of energy we took the game to B & P from minute one .  I keep hearing  the words "this player can never be a defender" by coaches and parents alike perhaps they should have been at our game today as Ricky F and Mitchell P were faultless and disciplined from start to finish.  Faith sat for long periods at the front of the diamond which made  our defence look somewhat reminiscent of a brick wall.  The whole team battled for every ball and I was proud of every last player in blue and black.  Hayden's trickery and skill was causing havoc for their full back and we quickly raced into a 1-0 lead when Ricky F found Hayden to put us 1 up after 7 mins.

The same partnership on 14 mins doubled the lead.  Nathan & Tobi entered the fray to replace the tireless work of Joe Regan & Hayden P  on 17 mins and both made a massive contribution for us.  We went in at half time on a 2-0 lead.  On 32 minutes Nathan sent in another one of his pinpoint crosses for  Tobi to  head  home to make it 3-0.  The tackles from both teams were physical to say the least.  B & P pulled 2 goals back in the final 8 minutes of time and with the clock well into Fergie time!!! Hayden was left in a heap in our half rolling around the floor in  agony but the ref allowed the play to continue  and Bowers went on to equalise  !! The whistle blew seconds later  for the end of the game I was proud to be coach of this wonderful group of kids who battled from start to finish.  Three of whom came off the pitch at one time or another injured.  For me the biggest plus was the discipline in defence was Ricky F and Mitchell P who were outstanding throughout.

Nathan W played superbly at centre forward  a sitting midfielder and left winger.  Bullet proof Faith M even had to come off injured at one point and our u14 ! German international goalkeeper Coby M !! also took one in the ribs  that's how physical the game was.  Joe R, again was outstanding at centre forward and defence   I have lodged a complaint about the referee which will probably fall on deaf ears but today was all about having to play a different way than usual.  I could not fault anyone but for me Ricky F stood out and certainly came of age a strong and mature performance resulting in 2 assists  to his name.

A brilliant day to be associated with these great bunch of kids.

Good mornings football at West Hams development centre we had a round robin of 5 games and we started with a game against DUFC  just 6 days after we met at Estadio  Rodini .
Mitchel P with a brace  Joe R, and Hayden all on the score sheet .Next up we had CP  from the league above with Tobi B adding two to his tally making it a good start with some free flowing football which as we play Futsal using confined spaces played right into our hands .
Third game was another encounter against Rudi,s Belmont which is always a tight affair the 3rd draw in 4 games against them and im sure both teams will do well in this league this year.
PV RANGERS  was next up and this game the score was never in DOUBT !!! as I made it a 2-2 DRAW !!!!the players made it  2-1  but there in our league and looked a good outfit so ill be preparing for a tough game against them . Odd numbers I presume so we ended up playing CP  for the 2nd time which ended in a 1-0 loss, so all in all a worth while exercise which will be repeated in January 2015  some great play but again discipline in defence let us down on a few occasions , which we will need to sort out if we are going to progress to higher divisions. Based on improvement /work rate/ discipline in position  and  Three !!  great strikes I am going to go with Mitchel P as MOM today so he  will captain the team tomorrow well done Mitchell

BHFC U9 BLACK 5-1 ************

BHFC U9 BLACK 5-1 **********

BHFC U9 Black,s  start to the new season continued with a great display against a big ***** United team.  We started with a Nathan B & Tobi back line together with Faith M at the bottom of the diamond, Joseph & Nathan W on the flanks and Hayden leading the line.  A tight first half where we had most of the play and found a good passing rhythm.  The deadline was broken on five minutes with Tobi finding Hayden for his third goal in two games.  We struggled to test their keeper for most of the first half but on 20 mins the Blacks had a free kick on the edge of the *******United box and Nathan B stepped up with a sweet left foot free kick which struck the bar.  We went in at half time with a 1-0 lead.  Coby M made his on-field debut at half time with Nathan B taking the gloves.  We seemed  to start the second half playing with more purpose.  After 5 mins Nathan W put in Tobi for his first goal of the season.  Tobi then got his second of the game on 32 mins after some great work by Joe R and on 39 mins we looked comfortable as Joe was rewarded for his hard work for his 2nd  of the season and 4th in 3 games and   Another assist from Hayden P.

Goal of the game was surely Faith M.s With the clock running down  the ball broke to Faith 25 yards out  who found herself in loads of space and a quick glance she spotted the keeper off his line and lobbed him to seal a fantastic non-stop running performance.  I couldn't give player of the match to anyone else other than Faith M today.  Ricky F had another strong solid game running and battling for every ball and Nathan W was superb in every position he played.

Joseph nearly got his second in two games and was commented by Ron Manager !!! (Gary Stutchfield BHFC Whites) who said he was a good player and really fitted in well with the team).  Coby was pretty much unchallenged in goal and looks just as comfortable on the pitch as he does in between the sticks.  Great start for our new club.  11 goals only one conceded in 2 games.
Id like to thank Mark Wright for stepping in for us yesterday to take training the kids loved it

BLACK MAGIC !

********* 0-6 BUCKHURST HILL BLACK

If Carlsburg did first league performances in a Buckhurst Hill shirt this would have been it! I counted 9 corners in the first half and the pass & move was at a different  age level.  We started with Joe & Faith as the first defensive partnership of the league season and Nathan W as a sitting mid-fielder with Hayden and Mitchell playing on the flanks and tricky Ricky leading the line.  Despite having all the possession on a pitch that had not seen a lawn mower for a good 6 months we failed to hit the target. Then there was a Hayden solo run which  resulted in a great finish to put us ahead.  Soon after Joseph who has fitted in superbly assisted Joe for his third goal in 2 games this meant we went in 2-0 up at half time.  It  took about 5 mins in the second half for us to put the game to bed.  Another jinking solo run from Hayden and a pin point cross saw Nathan B strike into the top left hand corner on the half volley.  Rolls reversed for the fourth as Nathan B turned provider  for Hayden to get his second of the game.  Nathan B got his second with a speculative  cross into the box which came off a UPR player to make it 5-0 but we wasn't finished there the debut man Joseph got in on the act, his first for his new team to make it 6-0.

Mitchell was desperately unlucky  in the final 5 mins with a fantastic drive which looked a dead cert to fly into the top corner but the keeper with probably the best save I have seen at this level unbelievably pushed it over the bar,

Taking the score away from the game, it was a superb all round performance with Faith playing like an under 12 at the back.  Ricky as usual full of energy and Mitchell again working his socks off leaving poor old Coby a mere spectator for most of  the game.  In hindsight I should have played Coby on pitch for the last 10 mins.  Nathan W played the introduction of the sitting mid-fielder with ease and perfection.  Well done Nathan W & Joseph on their first league games for BHFC Black.

Thank you for your support today.  Futsal normal time Monday.  Training 10.30 Saturday and a tough home game next Sunday against Dagenham United .

30/31/08/14 BHFC BLACK vs BHFC /BLUE /BELMONT/PAT ALLSTARS

BHFC BLACK 4-4 PAT ALLSTARS

A great workout for the blacks against a team which consisted of an u/8 2 u/10 s an u/12 goalkeeper and the rest our age group u/9. A massive thanks to Pat who put the team together as we have been training right through the summer and its games we need at this point not training and we  got out of the match exactly what I think we  needed . Two goals from Joe R and strikes from Nathan B & Hayden P.  Player of the match today was Hayden P who was dangerous with every attack. First game in a BHFC shirt for Joseph J who I thought fitted in perfectly and another game under his belt for Nathan W.  Faith M was as usual faultless, Nathan B looked really good especially on the right in the final 17 minutes.  Tobi had an unusually quiet game but I am sure he will be raring to go tomorrow.  Joe R had a good couple of strikes looked full of energy. Ricky F had a disciplined game both at the back and in mid-field and Mitchell P was lively with plenty of tricks.

A big thank you to Tim for reffing the game.  I owe him a couple of pints round the 3 Colts!!

Goals : Joe R 2, Hayden P and Nathan B

Player of the Match: Hayden P

BHFC BLACK 1-3 **********

Another good mornings football at Estadio Rodini !!!  Two good workouts, mixing up positions, tinkering with a sitting mid-fielder and a force number 9.  Some really good passing football and another couple of games for Joseph J and Nathan W.  Two outstanding performances today were again Faith M and a tireless performance from Mitchell P who covered every blade of grass this morning.  Ricky F was again disciplined in his defensive duties and a fantastic solo run for a goal in the first moments in the BHFC Blue game and Nathan B for a stunning left foot goal in the B FC game.

Nathan W and Joseph J look two great signings.  Both worked hard throughout both games.  Hayden P again had another two great games.  Joe R was lively in mid-field and solid in defence.  Tobi, again, was unusually pretty quiet but I am sure he will be back to his usual self for our first league game v UPR on Sunday (I will email details later this week).

Futsal on Monday usual time and place and 3v3 this week will be Thursday 11-1 £5  as that is the only day Trevor can  make it this week.

Saturday morning training, usual place at 10.30am.

See you Monday.
