As I've said before you can learn just as much from other coaches on CPD (Continuous professional development ) courses as you can from FA tutors, something I was made aware of from a coach who I've bumped into numerous times on coaching courses /CPD events from Leigh Ramblers Fc. DIAMOND DISPLAY!!!
###### 1-2 BHFC BLACK
A great advert for grassroots football with two good footballing sides going head to head. We played with Joe & Faith as our back line and rotated Mitchell/Tobi and Ricky throughout the game at the base of the diamond. The first half was fairly equal with both teams going close on numerous occasions but our back line was solid Faith had to come to our rescue once or twice when we had switched off. but the teams went in level at half time. Black quickly came racing out the blocks with Hayden starting to cause problems down the right and on 35 mins he cut inside the Rovers No 8 and struck well hitting the post .but a great follow up from Double J who slipped it under the keeper for his second goal of the season. Blacks started to turn up the tempo and the second goal followed quickly. Coby released Nathan who played a 20 yard ball to Tobi who made no mistake to put us 2-0 up. rovers started to come back at us and Coby had to be on his toes on 3 occasions as we caught out with our mid-field playing too high up the pitch. the home side pulled one back with 7 to play. Joe had his shooting boots with him today and a cracking strike nearly made it 3 with a 15 yard effort but the keeper tipped it over! Joe had another long range effort as the clock ticked down but the whistle went and our second 2-1 victory on the trot was finalised. More importantly everyone had done their job and walked off with a smile on their face. Ricky tried to blag another man of the match!!! Faith was another outstanding performer again today and Mitchell looks really comfortable in the holding role as does Tobi & Ricky. Pleased to see Double J get on the score sheet again for his second of the season. Joe was faultless today in and out of possession of the ball and is getting to be very vocal on the pitch so player of the match went to him well done JOE
I would like to say a "big thank you" to Jordan Butler, a current Charlton Athletic professional footballer and England U19 International, who gave up her time and took training yesterday. Hopefully Jordan will come over more often to take some sessions. A week without football next Saturday & Sunday to give the pitches a rest and also all the parents see you the week after #coyblack

SUNDAY PREVIEW !
UPR White preview
Don't panic I know you all stand by your hotmail accounts for the Sunday match preview !!!!
Today it comes live from Zurich airport gate D52 to be precise. On Route back from a video conference for the medical company Norvatis !
I will be expecting a tough challenge on Sunday as we look to build on last weeks result !
So the team layout will reflect that. Faith Mensahs back off international duty this week but we lose Nathan W who will have big Puma Kings to be filled !

Again Nathan was cross with Tobi but this time it was an Elbow to the face and again a Match Attack card caused the confrontation Gary Stutchfield Senrab legend & 3 times London cup finalist !!was the card causing the disagreement
Although I've not actually seen that particular card !

We have played UPR blue
and I'm told the old UPR red
Team recently beat a Barcelona 7 in there own back yard but I don't see any relevance in the colours of the Rainbow for this match !

Perez,s team still the team to beat after a 5-2 win against SAFC. Rumours circulating the BHFC Black coach Blake has been invited to the Churchill rooms at the Houses of Parliament in November as guest of the National Ankylosing Spondilitus society . I can confirm this is true so BHFC BLACK will be represented in "the big house"I will be looking for a Blue & Black scarf for the occasion !!

Anal part 333490
Praise , article below simplified as I learnt on one of the youth module courses (as opposed to I just dreamt it in the cab last night) !!! example Nathan at training last week had attempted to play a pass with his "bad foot" and in the air to Ricky who he new was in space on the right , the pass never reached Ricky but both me & Kev saw that Nathan had seen the pass and both praised Nathan for it, as opposed to focus on the fact that the pass didn't reach Ricky. The other point on that course was the 3 part process to managing a mistake /or getting over a coaching point in the form of positive /what you can do better ending with another positive ie Tobi you are a good goal scorer , we need to do a bit of work with your "bad foot" your positional play is 2nd to nun. The opposite is called a shit Sandwich !! Tobi you really need to work on your left foot , your a good goal scorer , but we really need to work on control as well .
For those who read it hope ive explained well enough.

BLACK ON TRACK!!!

I wasn't at the gig ! But seems another positive result with the Blake brothers shoring up the back line . I think we have a record breaker amongst us a goal after 39 secs from Mitchel P, is the fastest goal I can remember since I've been coaching .The "Fig" has also had a good weekend as Kev made him MOM today after I had @ training on Saturday for his passing in training & seems like he took that into today's game , decision making is a major part of football and all the best players make the best decisions at the right times, so when to pass & when to dribble or game intelligence is a must in football . With the weather of late not looking that great and no doubt there will be game / training cancelations sooner or later everywhere fortunately our Monday Futsal sessions will not be affected another plus for indoor football (futsal) .we now come to what is the business end !!!!of phase 1 (phase 2 starts in January ) and we will be meeting some strong opposition in the coming month of so starting with UPR this coming Sunday so will be a good challenge for us & I don't for see any repeats of our 5-0 & 6-1 wins coming soon . Thanks to Kev & Mark for helping out and it sounded like a good game . BTW By the time you read this we will have had over 1000 hits not bad eh!
This weeks International call up (rest week) is Nathan Wright, I've also been called up! to travel to Zurich in Switzerland to represent Ankylosing Spondylitus for the Uk, always fancied representing my country but can do without the daily pain ! but I go Weds and come back Friday so no football missed and the medical company are paying all my expense's #happydays!

LFC PREVIEW

BLAKES JOBS ON THE LINE !!!!

A good workmanlike performance from everyone in blue and black as we embarked on our fifth match and our fifth defensive partnership of the season. Tobi doned the gloves and our under 14 German came out to shore up our defence with Double J beside him. We rotated Mitchell, Faith and Nathan W at the base of the diamond. Both Coby and Joseph settled in to their first full game as a defensive unit and looked comfortable throughout. Mitchell P put in another box to box performance. Hayden P added to his goal tally from a Joe R pass as we tried to reply to a 2-1 deficit. Hayden P was a consent menace to the HHFC back line. We went in at half time 2-1 down. Coby wanted to go back in goal so switched with Tobi so we tinkered a bit with Faith M joining Double J at the back. We quickly conceded to make it 3-1 then a long pass from Faith M slipped in Ricky F and it was game on. Tobi gives us that little bit of craft in front of goal and with 2 mins left on the clock and us now 4-2 down he latched onto a Hayden pass to make it 4-3. Although it was too late in the game to affect the result.
Lots of positives to take from the game. Joseph's first ever game at the back and he looked superb throughout. Coby is as good on pitch as he is in goal. Mitchell's non-stop running, Ricky finding the back of the net more often and the pass Faith had plaudits from yet another opposing manager. Nathan W looks comfortable in defence, midfield and up top and im still unsure of his best position Another assist for Joe R who also has great versatility and work ethic . We were unlucky not to get more goals after two shots hit the post. Although I do not want to make a big issue out of it we all know prior to their winning goal it was a blatant penalty as Ricky was upended in their box.
Today's Players of the Match is Double J and Coby for their trip into the unknown into the defensive partnership. Next week we return to the NILCO ARENA for an 11.15 kick off, Kev Porter will be taking the team as I,m off again to a 70th wedding anniversary uuup Nooorth

He has signed a two year deal !! with scout MARK WILLIAMS snapping him up
for his youthfulness!!! once his Achilles injury has healed!!!
Blake was quoted in an interview with sly sports " my people have been talking to there's for a
while but these things take time and there was also disputes over his Roding Park Rangers contract , Who s manager Paul Cochrane was said to be devastated to lose a player who is unbeaten at 11 a side & 5 a side whilst Blake has played !!!!!( I love it don't I lanes !)
Blake will wear the nearly 50 shirt at the NILCO ARENA !!!!
